My friends and I went to The Party which is a fund raiser for rethinkbreastcancer.com on June 21st. I must say it was a total blast, very well organized, great people, food and entertainment. MJ and her power crew did a super spectacular job organizing the event which was held in a courtyard just south of Queen on Dufferin. There we were, giving hand massages with bodyFood and educating people on aromatherapy. MJ stopped by briefly with Lori for a mini hand massage and her dad called to see how The Party was going. How great is that? You can just feel the love! There is so positive energy in this group, everyone working together with the same goal, it’s just wonderful to be able to contribute in some small way. They have some items on auction for the next few days so if you go into their website, you can link to the auction and bid on some great stuff (including bodyFood). Or, you can make a donation…it’s a good cause and every penny helps!

CEO – Streetsville
Last night the CEO ’s (chicks evening out) Streetsville met at Honey’s Beestro and it was quite a nice group. Approximately 20 women in all came out for an evening of socializing and networking. It was great to meet each other and Cindy from Lovely Baskets brought a tray of goodies for all of to enjoy. This is a networking group that is open to all women. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at Honey’s Beestro at 7pm. There are no fees, you pay for what you order… so ladies, come out, have a good time and meet other women.
bodyFood parties at the Shop or at Home
I’ve been asked whether or not I do parties and the answer is YES! I will bring bodyFood to you, or, you can host a party here at the bodyFood Bar. At the bodyFood bar, people can have custom blends made but at home parties I don’t custom blend. The regular line of products is amazing and there is enough of a variety to keep everyone happy, so…if you want to have a home party, or host one here at the bodyFood bar, just contact me and we’ll sort out the arrangements.
Skin and Keeping it Healthy Naturally
Another burst of cold weather just as we were enjoying the heat, bbq’s and wine on the patio! It is important to keep your skin moisturized and healthy all year round including the summer. One of the bodyFood staples that I recommend is the body Oil. Truly it is an amazing combination of oils : Avocado, Apricot Kernal, Jojoba, Grapeseed, Olive oil and then I add essential oils to it. It is very nourishing, contains loads of vitamins and minerals, helps to tighten skin and repair sun damage. You can use it on your face, in fact it is great for acne! Just put it all over your body (and face) after your shower, let it dry for a minute, pat off excess and then get dressed. It’s also a great oil for your hair, if you want to give it a burst of health. This oil is good for children with eczema as well and can be used on infants…speaking of which, if you love infants…use the oil for massage and you’ll be sure to have more!
