Aromatherapy Inhalers: How They Work

As the inhalers gain popularity, people are amazed at how well they work. What happens is that when you inhale the molecules of the essential oils, they travel up into your head and into your respiratory tract and cross the barriers going into the blood stream. Many oils have natural antibacterial, antiviral, and antiseptic qualities so when they enter your blood stream and are carried to your internal organs, they give your internal organs a helping hand and boost your immune system at the same time. If you have a sinus problem that causes headaches, the headache blend will not only stop the headache from coming on, it will also clear your sinus problem naturally, making the intake of medications unnecessary. Sinusitis is very common and inhaling essential oils is one of the best things you can do to clear up the nasal passages. Of course, whenever you inhale essential oils, you are getting an aromatherapy treatment, if you find yourself stressed, tired, feeling unbalanced, an inhaler is great to use because you can keep it in your purse or pocket. My husband has a sinus issue and the other day I made him an inhaler and he can’t believe that something you smell could work so well…so I told him to think of the people that get high smelling different substances and viola! he now gets it!

I have a headache blend that I keep at my desk…I usually take a sniff around 3:00 in the afternoon. After working the phones and the computers it really seems to help. The headache blend has an added bonus of being a stimulant. Also useful in the late afternoon.
